MOP 1 Promoted to 3rd Klasse After Strong 2025 Season

The 2025 season has been a memorable one for MOP Cricket, with our first team (MOP 1) delivering an outstanding performance and earning promotion to the 3rd Klasse for the 2026 season.

MOP 1 finished second in the league table, winning 11 out of 14 matches and collecting 22 points. Throughout the season, the team showed consistency, fighting spirit, and strong teamwork. With solid performances in both batting and bowling, MOP 1 remained in the promotion race until the very end and fully deserved their step up to a higher division.

This promotion is a big milestone for the club and a reward for the hard work put in by players, coaches, and supporters over the season.

MOP 2 Shows Competitive Spirit

Our second team (MOP 2) also had a positive and competitive season. Playing in a strong and challenging league, MOP 2 finished mid-table, securing valuable wins and gaining important match experience. The team showed great commitment and depth, with several players stepping up when needed. Their efforts continue to strengthen the overall structure of MOP Cricket and provide a strong foundation for the future.

MOP T20 Team Gains Valuable Experience

In the LK T20 competition, MOP’s T20 side competed against tough opposition. While results were mixed, the team showed clear progress and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. The T20 format provided valuable experience for players, helping them develop their skills in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With MOP 1 promoted to the 3rd Klasse, solid performances from MOP 2, and growing experience in T20 cricket, the club can look ahead to the 2026 season with confidence and ambition.
